It was super up close and personal with Yu Heng's skincare routine. She is have been using the whitening range for a few months now and she seem to really love the lotion. She even use it as a mask by soaking it with a paper mask. One tip that she gave for skincare is to use it generously, which I agree because some products works well if you are not stingy with it.
Freshel is a skincare brand that I feel suits the young and busy crowd. It's really for people who wants their skincare to be easy and simple. Their best-seller will be the Freshel Perfect Gel series where they serve as a lotion, essence, emulsion, cream and moisturising makeup base.
I've tried the 5in1 Whitening Gel (white pot on the left) before and I can honestly say that I'm not a big fan of it maybe cause my main concern is moisture. However, the texture is really light and cooling while applying due to the thick gel consistency. For people with oily skin type, I really do think you will like this. Yu Heng also recommend using it as a sleeping mask at night. The matching day moisturiser in blue pot on the right is the Freshel Whitening UV Gel. The texture is the same but has a slightly thicker consistency and more opaque in white due to the UV protection ingredients. They each cost RM67 for 80g.
I think I may like the gold pot that he is holding better because that's the one with an extra thick moisturising perfect gel with an anti-aging skincare formula. Yes, I'm a sucker for anything anti-aging, don't judge. It moisturises with Coenzyme Q-10, Alpha lipoic acid, Double collagen and Hyaluronic acid while creating a veil for your skin with Macadamia nut oil derivatives, Jojoba oil and Shea butter. Since this is for an intensive moisturising care, the EX Moisture Gel cost RM82 for a pot of 80g.
Well, no surprise, every skincare brand have to come up with at least one BB cream. If not, they are definitely not keeping up with the current trends. Freshel offers four Mineral BB Cream in the BB cream series. These BB creams acts as a essence, emulsion, cream, sunscreen and tinted makeup base all in one. All four BB creams have a common ingredient of collagen, hyaluronic acid and minerals in it. All four variants are made for different skin type and skin concerns. Again, I personally would like to try the EX Thick and Moisturising BB Cream because the product is rich with moisture and gives a medium to full coverage finish plus SPF 32 PA ++. Come on, how can I resist that.
Just when you think they are satisfied with four variants of BB creams, here comes the CC cream. Mother of all natural looking face, CC cream gives you that super down-to-earth natural looking skin. That's the fact, their here to colour correct your skin. Of course, it's not Freshel if it's not an essence, an emulsion, a cream and a sunscreen all in one tube.
